There is more than one artist with this name: 1) Rais an American rock band who gets its name from the Egyptian sun god of the same name. The band has been around since the 1990s, but did not actually evolve into what it is today until 2002. The current line-up includes Sahaj Ticotin (vocals, guitar), Andy Ryan (drums), Ben Carroll (guitar), and PJ Farley (bass).
